Kaltbach Le Gruyère AOP is recognized instantly by the color of its rind – an unmistakable rustic brown patina – and its flavor, which is just as distinctive.
Flavor Profile
Semi firm, wash rind. Compared with traditional Le Gruyère AOP, the extended aging in the unique cave a product environment makes for complex, slightly more assertive flavors. The texture is a location denser, yet still smooth with a slight flake and more pronounced crystal crunch.
