Ponderosa Dried Mixed Mushrooms are an exciting medley of Porcini, Chanterelle, Shiitake, Portabella, and Oyster Mushrooms. This versatile blend is a delicious addition to sauces, entrees, soups and stir-fry's.
Note: 0.5 oz/ 14g of dried mushrooms equals about 2.5 oz/ 70g of fresh product.
To Rehydrate: Soak in a bowl of warm water, wine or stock for 20 minutes or until tender. Strain through a cheesecloth or filter reserving the flavorful liquid for use in soups, stocks or sauces. When preparing soups or stews, the dried mushrooms can be added without rehydrating as they revive during the slow cooking process.
