Van Nahmen press the juice of our apricot nectar exclusively from the apricot variety Orangé de Provence, which is rarely grown today.
The ripe apricots give the juice a pleasant fruity sweetness and a crisp, fresh acidity. Due to the high viscosity of the apricot nectar, the full-bodied taste lingers on the palate for some time.
"The juice shows an intense orange color and a high viscosity. The intense bouquet is characterized by sun-ripened, juicy apricots, with a hint of English tea roses, tangerine peel and orange blossom. On the palate, the nectar stretches out with a creamy mouthfeel and a juicy, fruity sweetness in perfect balance with crisp, fresh acidity. A complex, opulent juice with a long, pleasantly fruity-sweet and intensely aromatic aftertaste. 1/3 juice and 2/3 dry sparkling wine are recommended as a cocktail. If you like it without alcohol, you can also mix the juice very well in a ratio of 1: 1 with sparkling water. Those who opt for the variant with sparkling wine for an aperitif can serve finger food such as prawn cocktail on toast, teriyaki skewers or hearty cream puffs. Enjoyed pure, the juice goes well with many fruit desserts or cheesecakes. With its opulent nature, the nectar goes well with the goose liver terrine on brioche with fruit chutney or with various quark-based desserts such as pot pockets, with apricot compote refined with rose water".
