Mango

Mangoes are a tropical superfood packed with vitamins C and A, antioxidants, and fibre, reaching their peak season from May to September. The exterior skin should be peeled to reveal the edible yellow fresh; however avoid biting the hard pit in the centre.

Ripened mangoes turn yellow and/or red on the outside with a slight softness, which generally takes 3-4 days at room temperature, or can be sped up in a paper bag. Ripe mangoes last about 4-5 days in the fridge.

Product of Costa Rica. Kent variety Mangoes.
